Next Job(s)

The table below contains short reminders of the jobs that are going to be undertaken almost immediately or other minor to-do items.

Immediate small jobs where things still have to be purchased

  1. update charts - still need to select the larger scale and harbor charts for Maine. Possibly another chart or two for Block Island. A few NOAA charts got wet on the way to Block Island and need to be replaced.
  2. Shop tools. Tools to be kept onboard. - need a good list of what is still needed. Currently purchasing tools as needed. Right now I need a large flat screwdriver, needle nose pliers, and small vice grips, the latter two to replace rusted tools.

Immediate small jobs that are ready to start

  1. Mount passive deck vent and interior teak trim ring.
  2. Small part spares.(measure and inventory the clevis and cotter pins)
  3. Companion way and washboard improvement.

Small things that would be helpful to do are:

  1. Plan routing of jack lines and measure jack line length.
  2. Check current backing plates for winches and other deck hardware that can cause high stress.
  3. Make measurements for traveller arch and new bimini attachment.
  4. Update the winter storage tarp frame.

Things that will need to be done over the winter or next spring:

  1. Get rid of the bimini track and figure out a better way to mount the bimini.
